Under Regulation 11 of the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (TUPE), the current employer (the transferor) must provide certain Employee Liability Information (ELI) to the incoming employer (the transferee). This ensures that employee rights, contracts, and obligations are correctly transferred and protected during the process.

The transferor must provide the required information at least 28 days before the transfer date. This allows the transferee enough time to review employee details, assess liabilities, and prepare for consultation and payroll transitions in compliance with TUPE law.
